Are you a farm or garden-based educator looking to grow your program and inspire your teaching practice? This weekend of learning and discussion will engage you through facilitated conversations, hands-on activities, shared meals and farm explorations. Relying on peer expertise and our collective experience, we'll support one another as we workshop new possibilities for our sites and future collaborations. In preparation for the retreat you will be asked to: Bring along your favorite resources that have shaped you as a farm-based educator Think about a "dilemma" from your site that you will be seeking peer feedback on Read a short article connected to farm and garden-based education that we will discuss during the weekend Plan an (optional) 10 minute presentation about your site that shares your successes and challenges This retreat is designed for those who have been doing farm and garden-based education for about 5+ years. Program Fee: $50.00, includes meals for the weekend. Optional on-site two night accommodations are available for an additional $35.00 and can be added to your registration at check-out.
